The Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA) is pleased to announce the 45th Inaugural Lecture Series, which will be delivered by the University’s recently appointed Librarian, Professor Abdulrazaq Baba Abdulrahman, Professor of Library and Information Science, Department of Library and Information Science, Faculty of Social Sciences.
The lecture, titled “Library and Information Services Delivery Tools for Promoting Unity in Diversity and Inclusion for Sustainable Development,” marks a significant academic milestone for the University and highlights the vital role of libraries and information services in fostering social cohesion, inclusivity, and sustainable national development through knowledge dissemination and equitable access to information.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Isa Kida, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Management, staff, students, and the entire University Community, cordially invites members of the public, the academic community, professional colleagues, alumni, development partners, and other stakeholders to attend this important intellectual engagement.
The Vice-Chancellor will serve as the Chairman of the occasion, while Professor Abdulrazaq Baba Abdulrahman, whose recent appointment as the University Librarian further underscores the University’s commitment to academic excellence, research, and scholarship, will deliver the 45th Inaugural Lecture.
