The Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA) has commenced the sale and processing of applications for the 2026/2027 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) Screening Exercise.
The University invites all suitably qualified candidates who applied for admission into its undergraduate programmes through the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to register for the online screening exercise. Registration opens on Monday, 6th July, 2026, and closes on Sunday, 30th August, 2026.
To be eligible for the screening exercise, candidates must possess at least five (5) O’ Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings. Applicants are also required to have selected the Federal University of Lafia as their first-choice institution during the 2026 UTME. In addition, candidates must meet the University’s minimum UTME score requirements, which are 170 and above for most programmes, 200 and above for Anatomy and Physiology, 210 for Nursing and Radiography, 220 for Medical Laboratory Science and Pharmacy, and 230 for Medicine and Surgery (MBBS). Direct Entry applicants are equally required to possess a minimum of Merit (or Lower Credit) qualification.
The registration process is entirely online. Prospective candidates are to visit https://my.fulafia.edu.ng, create an account using their JAMB Registration Number and email address, complete their biodata, make the prescribed screening payment through the University’s approved payment platform, verify their O’ Level results, and print their application summary and payment receipt upon successful registration. Candidates are advised to initiate all payments only through the University’s MIS Portal, as payment references generated elsewhere will not be recognised for the screening exercise.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to complete their registration well before the closing date to avoid last-minute challenges. The University also reminds all FULAFIA Remedial and JUPEB students seeking admission into undergraduate programmes that participation in the Post-UTME Screening Exercise is mandatory.
For further information and to begin the registration process, applicants should visit the University’s admission portal at https://my.fulafia.edu.ng.
The Federal University of Lafia wishes all prospective students success in the admission process and looks forward to welcoming qualified candidates into the University community for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
